The winners of this year’s Welsh Pharmacy Awards have been revealed at a prestigious ceremony, held recently at The Vale Resort, Glamorgan.

The event, which was attended by over 300 industry professionals, provided a great opportunity to formally recognise and reward the achievements of outstanding Welsh pharmacists and pharmacy teams, who have made a real difference to the profession and to the lives of their patients.

As well as attending the ceremony, we were thrilled to co-sponsor the Innovations in Quality & Efficiency through Technology in Community Pharmacy Award, in association with Willach UK.

Positive Solutions’ Sales and Marketing Manager, Steve McGee (pictured) presented the esteemed accolade to Gary Jones from Borth Pharmacy for his creation of Pro Delivery Manager – an app which helps pharmacies to better manage their home delivery services.

The ceremony also saw the presentation of a Special Recognition Award to Rob Davies – pharmacist at Davies Chemists, in tribute to his hard work and continued quest for the profession’s improvement.
