EPS Claims
Instead of stockpiling your EPS2 claims until the end of the month why not submit them on a weekly or even a daily basis?
Hopefully you are aware that the latest version of Analyst makes it possible to amend a claim that had been sent for payment. Any amendments must be made before the deadline of the 5th of the following month.
If you have any questions regarding this or any other features of our software please call our Service Desk on 01257 235940.
Hints & Tips
Specific product searches: When you are searching a specific item e.g. an unique appliance, type in a reference number or something that is unique to that item, press OK and then press the ‘Within’ button.
Product notes: A short note can be added to any dispensed item by pressing CTRL+N and will be shown as a small paper icon. Once added it will be remembered for future reference and can be viewed by pressing CTRL+N.
Automatic shelf edge labels: Set your system to auto print your new shop price labels after a batch price update, which will then keep prices accurate in the shop. To do this, set up your report printer by clicking on Admin > System Configuration > Printers tab. Then from the Options tab, enable ‘Automatically print after batch price updates’.
Class 2 MHRA drug alert: Lipitor (Atorvastatin) 80mg film-coated tablets (Pfizer) and atorvastatin 80mg film-coated tablets (Almus livery)
Drug alert number: EL (17) A/12
Date issued: 27th November 2017
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued a class 2 wholesaler and pharmacy level medicines recall, to be actioned within 48 hours, for certain batches of:
- Lipitor (atorvastatin) 80mg film-coated tablets, pack size 1 x 28 (Pfizer); and
- atorvastatin 80mg film-coated tablets, pack size 1 x 28, (Almus livery)
The two companies are recalling the specified batches as a precaution due to an out of specification result for microbiological testing during routine stability studies on a batch of the product which was not released to the market. Remaining stock of the batches should be quarantined and returned to the original supplier for credit.
