Real Time Exemption Checking (RTEC) is now available for all Analyst users!

RTEC functionality enables your Analyst system to automatically check if patients need to pay for prescriptions.

This functionality is now included within your existing Analyst system and will be activated at no additional cost. However, you must register your agreement to use the functionality with NHSBSA.

How to register

To register, login to MYS <https://services.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-prescription-services-submissions/login>

and confirm acceptance of the RTEC user agreement. Following registration please allow up to 5 working days for your Analyst system to become automatically activated via the overnight data exchange.

 

Contractors that are already using RTEC should also confirm their acceptance of the user agreement, if they have not already done so.

Pharmacy groups can submit a bulk declaration for multiple pharmacies if you wish. Details of how to do this can be found on the MYS registration page”
