We are pleased to say that we had a great couple of days supporting our automation partners Willach Pharmacy Solutions and BD Rowa Technologies at this year’s Pharmacy Show at Birmingham NEC.
The annual event is the largest national conference and exhibition for the community pharmacy sector; over 8500 delegates are thought to have attended over the two days.
With over 400 exhibiting companies and eight comprehensive education streams, the Show provided pharmacy owners and their teams with access to two days of CPD training, up-skilling and the opportunity to discover the latest product and service innovation available to the pharmacy market.
We had the opportunity to showcase how our software integrates with new automation technology now on offer to UK pharmacies, with Willach and BD Rowa both including fully operational pharmacy dispensing robots as part of their stands. These robots were shown in conjunction with Positive Solutions terminals, all running together with Analyst software.
We also had the opportunity to talk to a great number of community pharmacists and other pharmacy professionals about their current priorities, and how an automation strategy could fit into their pharmacy business. Automation can potentially free up staff time, and allow them to focus more on customer service and other services such as MURs and consultations, as well as increasing the volume of scripts that the pharmacy can fill and the speed with which they can get medicines to their customers.
If you are interested in talking to us about an automation project, or about refreshing your pharmacy IT system, please get in touch.
